We are not interested in working with pros who have left black marks in the poker world. We are not interested in jamming affiliate deals down the throats of our users, potentially tarnishing the names of those pros who do sell action on our site.
In fact, we recently took down our last affiliate partnership deal off our site, as it adds almost no value to any of the users on our site — instead is only designed to line the pockets of the sites owners.
I think our pros recognize these things, and understand that we are here to work with them. We also offer several different value propositions to pros — from reducing variance, moving up levels, or engaging with their fan base.

Meyvis, the software developer, has also used StakeKings a few times as a player, and he appreciates the ease and speed with which he can solicit funds for high buy-in events.
For more high profile events, his strategy is to emphasize the social aspect and the updates he will deliver as he gets closer to the money. Anyone playing for fun would be much, much better off not playing cash games AND avoiding as much chalk as possible, especially in sports like MLB.
Kicked this topic around a year ago when it first came out. My statements on this being a losing proposition for investors and the general community still stands.
I also still feel this goes against both RG and Draftkings core mission statements, not to mention gameplay rules.
There is nothing wrong with the concept, but It is basically a tax on idiots at the common markup levels. I guess Im surprised they dont have more players posting action as well, but its probably supply and demand driven.
I think the concept has potential. To me, this is mostly entertainment for the buyer. I do not believe a seller should have to show their ROI or prove they are a profitable player.
Hell they could be a break-even or even a losing player yet it could still be a better investment for some buyers than playing lineups themselves.
As long as the sellers are not being fraudulent or claiming to be something they are not, then I do not see the problem with this. I know how markup works.
